Welcome to the Creatively Crafty Link Party hosted by the Creative Crafters Blogging Group! You’ve worked hard on your project, and it looks great! Share it with us and get the kudos you deserve! Any and all creative endeavors are welcome…crafts, original writing, recipes, DIY tutorials, you name it!

You may recall an earlier project where my sister and I painted mandalas on some landscaping rocks. It was a fun project and to follow it up, we’re going to visit a cultural exhibit at the local university where this week a group of Tibetan monks are creating a mandala out of sand. It will take five days to create and afterwards, the sand will be swept into the river to symbolize the Buddhist philosophy of the impermanence of all that exists. Follow this link if you’re interested in viewing a time lapse of a previous installation. On the same webpage you’ll find other pertinent links to explore.

And now…the Featured Post!

Sarah over at Our Daily Craft has a series of activities involving maps. She shared this one last week, and I like it for a couple of reasons. For one thing, this activity should appeal to both boys and girls and allow them to translate their mental map of the world onto paper. Since the map doesn’t have to be to scale, it can be fun to add emphasis to those elements deemed most important. Perhaps a pretty house, or a scary dog that lives on the corner.

Feel free to download our Featured Button and display it on your post! I will be pinning your project to our group board as well as a few other Pinterest boards and sharing on other social media as well. I’m sure others will love it, too!

Let’s move on to the round up. Do you have anything creative you’d like to share? We’d love to see it. Browsing through the projects is a pleasant part of my week!

Thank You for sharing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party, and pin our favorites. With so many bloggers participating that means more exposure for YOU! Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff.

The weekly features will also be promoted on social media with all features pinned to the Creative Craft Bloggers group board on Pinterest!

There are just a few simple rules:

-Link to a specific post, not your home page.
-Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
-Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
-Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.

Please do not pin from these thumbnails. If there’s a post you want to pin please click on the link title to visit the source and pin from their blog.

Not a blogger? No problem! Anyone with an Instagram account can link to a photo of your completed masterpiece or work in progress.

Could you do us a favor and share the party on Twitter before linking up?
