Rick and I took a few days to visit the Alhambra in Granada last week. We were there when the election results came in. (I’d mailed our absentee ballots a couple weeks ago and finally got confirmation the votes were received this past Monday.) We were in the middle of olive country. Granada is a lovely city, much larger than Valladolid. Our hotel was in the historic district with narrow streets and alleyways lined with shops and cafes.

The palaces at the Alhambra are the main attraction, of course, although there are ski resorts and hiking trails within a short drive of the city as well.

Now the holiday season is upon us. I’m looking forward to seeing your seasonal projects. This week’s feature is a cute hostess gift. Everyone uses gift tags and this set from White House Crafts is a thoughtful gift as a thank you for being invited to someone’s home.  Drop by for a tutorial on how to get everything ready for giving.

Let’s move on to the round up. Do you have anything creative you’d like to share? We’d love to see it. Browsing through the projects is a pleasant part of my week!
Thank You for sharing your creativity with us. Each week we will sponsor a new link party, and pin our favorites. With so many bloggers participating that means more exposure for YOU! Head over to the other co-hosts blogs to see all their fun stuff.

Thanks for sharing your project with us! Keep an eye out as we’ll be sharing posts on various social media channels during the week. We’re growing and that’s a good thing, although as the party gets larger it will be more difficult for me to visit and comment on every link. So I’m counting on you guys to help out. Please try to find time to visit a link or two yourself and congratulate your fellow crafters on a job well done!

There are just a few simple rules:

-Link to a specific post, not your home page.
-Link up something YOU made/wrote/created.
-Giveaways, other link parties, Etsy shops or business links are not accepted.
-Don’t link and run. Try to visit at least one link and show them some love. You may make a new friend.

Please do not pin from these thumbnails. If there’s a post you want to pin please click on the link title to visit the source and pin from their blog.

Not a blogger? No problem! Anyone with an Instagram or Facebook account can link to a photo of your completed masterpiece or work in progress.

Could you do us a favor and share the party on Twitter before linking up?

  1. I was lucky enough to visit the Alhambra a couple of years ago. I have a great photo of those fountain creatures that I thought were dogs but I think are supposed to be lions! Such a beautiful place, so much too see and the most amazing views.
    Thanks for hosting the party.

We really enjoyed our visit, too, Julie. I especially loved how the water added so much to the environment with sound and light.
